Abstract
Sensata Malaysia Technology is a manufacturing plant for several products primarily supporting the worldwide automotive industry and has a long list of well known customers. The sensors produce are used in cars as well as heavy vehicles for applications ranging from pressure sensing to force control. At Differential Pressure Sensor production line, which is a part of department of Sensata Malaysia Technology, contains of many machines that used to manufacturing differential pressure sensor. As to produce a housing of differential pressure sensor, it has to undergoes part of process which is dispensing filter into housing to prevent dust or unwanted material from getting into housing of differential pressure sensor. Due to current filter machines has problems that unable to solve, hence a dial table type of filter assembly machine is proposed. The dial table type of filter assembly machines contains of 4 difference station which able to perform different kinds of work task. Others than that, the problems faced by current filter assembly machines will be eliminated because dial table type of filter assembly machine will enhanced with sensor to allow works to complete perfectly. At last, dial table type of filter assembly machine is designed with the specification that able to works more efficiency than the current filter assembly machine that located at the production line of DPS department of Sensata Technology Malaysia.
