Abstract
The main purpose of the project is to reuse discarded ceramic tiles and polymer scrap as green materials. This dissertation discusses the description of the recycled ceramic tiles and polymer scrap to form a ceramic compacted with polymer as intermediate binders in the process. Besides that, another purpose of this research is to study the heat resistance of ceramic with polymer. Different ratios of polymer were mixed with recycled ceramic tiles, will have different mechanical properties. The specimens were tested on water absorption, heat resistant and modulus of rupture test. The results and graphs were plotted to compare the properties of the different ratios of the polyner added to the recycled ceramic tiles. The interpretation and discussion are presented in Chapter 4 and follow by the conclusion in the next topic.
