Abstract

It is important to understand the work concept of a heat exchanger if you are working in fields which implement the device most probably chemical, nuclear power and power generator industries. It is also important to practice the use of FEA and CFD through parametric analysis with the use of engineering software such as Solidworks and ANSYS. For heat exchanger, components and system are needed to be understood before going for design and modeling. It requires material selection, appropriate boundary condition and other settings in order to achieve good simulation. At the same time, theories will majorly focus on effectiveness on heat exchanger at the end when results and reports are being produced by the software which plays the most important part of overall assessment objective in parametric analysis.
