Abstract
The project is to design trolley dustbin to be ergonomic cleaner worker who can collect the rubbish with more easily with newer feel low back pain. The main function that was convenient because that combined broom, dustpan and storage together with using pushing the trolley dustbin and can be collected rubbish with easily. During designing process, the design is sketched by the SolidWorks software, because using this software can have a concept that author want fabrication. The appropriate materials for prototype fabrication are source. All the components and material is selecting in the project to meet the specific requirement such as the strength material, durability, and cost. Since the first concept design have some limitation, the author was redesign again and built it can become more function and convenient to the user. The prototype is using mechanism system to control, which sprocket and the chain was the controller the prototype to collected rubbish. When the mechanism system is process the front broom will turning and collecting the rubbish. The mechanism system performed well and author has done some finishing making the prototypes look nicely. The author believes that, this trolley dustbin prototype is a new concept system and applicable in future time. Although it is a lot of limitations need to solve by further improve on the design and fabrication process.
