Abstract

In this project, we are required to investigate the movement of ship in the freezing water, for example, the drag force, friction, buoyancy and speed of the ship moving. Other than that, we intend to test the change of temperature and density between the sea water and fresh water when freeze. We also try to examine the relationship and effect between material properties with freezing water. As for this experiment, we had use plastic bottle, aluminium tin and paper box. Chapter one is an introduction of the project which consists of theory introduction, objectives of the experiments, definition and problem definition. In chapter two, it is the literature reviews that regarding the summary and conclusion of the five journals that I choose from internet and had been approved by my project supervisor. Chapter three is theory research which does research about the theories that we applied in our experiments. As in chapter four, methodology which consists of the kind of experiments, explanation, variables, expect results, design of the apparatus. Chapter five, is the results, it will show the analysis and graphs with explanations. There are three main kinds of experiment results. Lastly, chapter six is conclusion and further work, which consists of conclusion of results and project, weakness of results and project, further work.
