Abstract

In the market, there are many applications using the conveyors. Since there is no painting conveyor system in market, we have created and designed a fully automated painting conveyor system without human involvement, it will help and give a lot of advantages to users. We are purposely designed to make it convenient and safety so that people do not need to paint manually. In our prototype, we are mainly used Programmable logic control the whole process to complete the painting. We have designed 3 stations and each station is operated 1 process. First process is vacuuming, second process is painting and last process is drying. All the object will passed through 3 stations in order to complete the painting. In our design, we have used overhead conveyors as our main conveyor. It is the most suitable to use because it will hanged the object during the painting. In order to operate it, we have used the motor to rotate it. In the same time, we used the 1/0 device to control the speed of conveyor and the stations. In this, we have used WPLSOFT and write a good program in order to operate it well. It is still can improved in our final year project due to the high cost of components and limitation of budget, it makes us difficult to complete it very successful.
