Abstract
This dissertation is to review the concepts and uses of thermal insulation and also determine the importance or advantages of thermal insulation in Malaysia, as well as investigation of applicability of thermal insulation amongst the buildings in Malaysia. The concepts, functions of thermal insulation and the importance or advantages of thermal insulation in Malaysia had been determined accordingly reference books, articles, online resources, etc. For the research methodology chapter, questionnaire survey had been carried out for primary data collected method which by mailing to professionals who works in construction industries. Data which has collected from the respondents had been analyzed.
