The project title is “Flexible RGB LED Advert Display”. It makes up of a board of RGB (Red Green and Blue) LEDs and plenty of electronic components such as Shift Register, Microcontroller, Hall Effect Sensor, and Eeprom. It is attached on the blade of the table fan and subsequently a 7 colors picture would be generate after the fan is start running. A ball bearing is attached on the fan as well to provide power supply to avoid wire crash during the motor spinning. The objective of this project is to create a cheap and affordable, brand new advertisement method for young entrepreneurs or fresh graduate who would like to start their business with limited fund. The user interface software is written in Java program. It could let user to draw their picture which they want to display on the fan or import their desired “.bmp” format picture so the software will helps to capture the pixel from the picture automatically. Finally, PIC Microcontroller is used in this project. It is the central component which controls all the electronic components and manages all the input and output. With the aid of the EEPROM to expand the limited data memory, it could store up to 50 pictures in once.
