Abstract

Piezoelectric is an ability of some material to generate an electric field or electric potential in response to applied mechanical stress. And it is vice versa. The concept is using foot step to form a mechanical stress on the piezoelectric and it will generate amount of electric energy and then store it. Each person passes through and step on the “Stepping Piezoelectric Energy Storage Rug will cause the piezoelectric element to compress and produce amount of energy. Furthermore, with adding the electromagnetic generator to increase the amount of energy and subsequently the energy will be stored in the electronic component. The unique of the “HSPESR” is, “HSPESR” is hybrid which consist of three essential parts which are the piezoelectric material and electromagnetic generator operated to generate the electric when people stepping on the rug. Besides that, the energy storage circuit which is particularly design to stored the energy. In addition, printed circuit board is made from animal feather as dielectric of the board. Conclusion is this project is an environmental friendly project.
