Abstract

The rapid development of the world, the technology todays is allow to make many illegal artificial food. For example, The 2008 Chinese milk scandal was a food safety incident in China. The scandal involved milk and infant formula along with other food materials and components being adulterated with melamine. Besides that, some company had cheated the consumer by mixture the cheap oil with olive oil and glucose water with real honey. The Faraday Effect of the optic can be determine all the artificial ingredient at a short time. Furthermore, the Faraday Effect also able to calculate the concentration of the different liquid. This report shows the design of the Faraday Effect, how to use LabVIEW to control the detector of the experiment, and how to use COMSOL to simulate the Faraday Effect.
