Abstract
New media is becoming important to our society as it reflects and influence people’s mind and opinion. This research aimed to find out view from Malaysian Younger Generation toward portrayal of death sentences in Miracle in Cell No.7. This is important to Malaysia future as it will provide the information about younger generation’s view on should abolish or remain death sentences in our country. To gather the needed data, different references were used such as books, journal articles and internet. An interview with five respondents in TARUC in conditions with 18 to 25 years old was done to ask their opinions and perceptions on this issue. The findings of this study had shown younger generation different views on death sentences content that portrayed in movie.
