Abstract

There are a lot of research carried out due to gender bias issue in public relations industry. Some scholar claimed that gender bias are existing in public relations industry that bring direct effect to female PR practitioners in promotion opportunity while some claimed that there are not. Other than that, there are also some research claimed that employees promotion was not due to gender issue basically but others issue and perspective that indirectly forms the unfair treatment on promotion opportunity towards male and female employees. Employee performance had been claimed to be one of the reason for the organization to decide who to commit in the higher position level in the organization. Therefore, this research is to study the employee performance among female and male public relation practitioners (PRP) in Malaysia.
