Abstract

The main purpose of this project was to create a virtual community in the college campus. By having the application, students can now be more connected to one another and changing the current college lifestyle. The project consisted 4 main features. Among the features are in-campus navigation feature, Event Locator feature, Trading feature and Location Sharing feature. The students can use the incampus navigation feature to direct from one place to another within the campus easily. Users can also use this platform to promote their official or unofficial events that held in the college. Furthermore, users can also perform casual trading through this centralized platform. Lastly, students can use this application to meet new friends around the campus by viewing active users on the map and contact them by using Whatsapp. The project was developed by using Incremental Model. The alpha test was carried out by our developers and provide feedbacks to make sure that the application outcome was as expected. The application output was known as complete, functional and accurate. However, the application was not being optimized and it have the speed limitation. The future improvement should include some optimization to make the application more user friendly.
