Abstract
Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (TAR UC) provides free bus service for all the student and academic staff. However, some of the major problems with this bus service are that the bus schedule is not easily accessible and the departure and arrival time is unpredictable for stops that are outside of TAR UC campus. As a result, students are hindered from making better plan with their time. The proposed system is aimed to solve these problems by tracking TAR UC buses in real-time using GPS and sending the position to users. Furthermore, a backend system is developed to help Department of Student Affair (DSA) to manage the bus service. This backend system allows DSA to manage drivers and routes, track buses, generate reports, post announcement and promotion, and generate driver schedules. This system is able to greatly improve current bus service and prevent troubles caused by busses being not punctual.
