Abstract

Free shuttle bus service has been provided by Tunku Abdul Rahman University College to all student and staff. However, several problems such as bus schedule is not easily accessible, and departure and arrival time is unpredictable at the stops outside of TAR UC campus. The proposed system’s objective is to solve these problems by implementing a device in TAR UC buses to tracking them in real time using GPS and sending the position to users. A backend system is developed to assist DSA staff to manage routes, stops, drivers, schedules, announcements, promotions, and generating reports. This system can make a big role in improving the current bus service by optimizing the routes and schedules for the greatest experience.
