Abstract

TARUC is a company that provides high-quality education. The main purpose of the project is to assist TARUC to develop a system to achieve the implementation of smart campus project. Although the Student Intranet has integrated with multiple systems within it, including E-Bulletin Board, and it does not lead the users to read the announcements. Not only that, the possibility of users omit the announcements is high. The implementation of this project is to pursue the competitive advantage with other local Universities. The proposed system is aimed to provide an efficient and effective solution that enable the users to receive the latest announcements on time. The evaluation of the current system has been made by comparing it with the systems of other local universities. By extract the benefits of the systems from others to overcome the weakness of the current system in order to develop a better solution for this project. The proposed system includes of multiple sub-modules which can be categorized as Login, Categorization, Bookmark, Notification, Loading, Announcement and Profile. Scrum methodology is being used in the project to assist the team members and the scrum master to form a strong cooperation among each other. The visible of overall progression provides an advantage to the scrum master to evaluate their works effortlessly. The system had performed the unit testing and the system testing before proceeding to the user acceptance test to receive further feedback from the supervisor and moderators. The project received good reviews and feedback from the supervisor and the moderators. The project can be completed within the expected time range and the system has met all the proposed requirements. Although all the basic requirements for the Bulletin Board System have been achieved without occurring any failure, however the response time of the MQTT can be further improved.
