Abstract

As the image processing has been a great demand in research for application in present, this project will apply the image processing to monitor and analyze the plant leaf to detect the plant diseases. Throughout this project, the Web Cam which connect to computer will be used to capture the image of a plant leaf and to send the image data to the MATLAB to analyze the condition of plant GLCM image analysis techniques to extract the feature and classify by using SVM, so that the users can monitor and study their plant through Android apps and this project will suggest the approach treatment to the plant diseases. The purpose of developing Android apps through MIT Inventor is to help user to be more convenience. Besides, to allow user to monitor their plant, this project will add on some sensors, which is temperature sensor to identify the temperature of soil which is affected by the weather and moisture sensor to identify the moisture level of soil, since the abnormal temperature of weather and moisture level of soil will be one of the factor that cause plant disease.
