Abstract

Finding a parking space in campus is a daily concern for a student who drive car to college every day, especially during peak hours. In this project, a smart parking system in campus is proposed with the use of a smartphone to find the availability of parking space. The application in smartphone will provide user the information of the parking space and hence improves the driver searching experience. This system will use a Raspberry Pi Model 3B with camera to capture the image of the parking lot. After that, it will process the captured image and send the information to the Firebase. When the user opens the application, it will immediately receive the information from Firebase and display to user.
