Abstract

Multiculturalism is a phenomena that describes the multi culture that consists of one society and is able to bring impact to various aspects especially the communication between each culture of the society. In the several dimensions of Multiculturalism, cultural competence is one of the factors that will affect the attitude of individuals towards other cultures that live in the same country. In the Public Relations industry, how the Public Relations Practitioner overcomes the impact of Multiculturalism and conducts effective communication. Therefore, this research is to investigate the level of cultural competence of the society members and the attitude towards messages conveyed from the Public Relations Practices and Campaigns in Multicultural society by using quantitative methods such as distribution of online questionnaires.
