Abstract

This project is carried out in partial fulfilment of requirement for Bachelor of Information Systems (Hons) and Bachelor of Science, Campbell University, U.S.A. of Enterprise Information Systems. The purpose of developing this system is to encourage the usage of Smart Campus applications by providing rewards to user. The features of system included calculation of reward point for a completed transaction in other application, reporting feature such as transaction history and summary, and usage of points for redemption of item. For development methodology, Spiral Model is used as the software development method. MySQL is used as the database management system while PHP and HTML are programming language involved and WAMP Server is used for hosting dynamic websites. The development phases involved are scope analysis, fact gathering, requirement analysis, system design, development and testing. Assessment has been done on scalability with other system, database integrity, user friendliness and availability of system. As the result, the project fulfil most of the objectives. For the system’s strength, it allows integration with various application systems, but still lacking some features to fully support the function of system. In conclusions, the business process of the loyalty program system is studied deeply. As system is expected to integrate with more applications in future, so a specific point allocation method must be define for each application.
