Abstract

This project is an online event platform which facilitate both the event organizer and participants in promoting and searching for event. User are allow to view available event with high accessibility by using variety of devise such as Computer, mobile phone, tablet etc, especially to those user who wanted to know the event available in their colleges. This project responsible for the thorough processes of an event, which from publish event until purchase ticket. This project is going to support only for event which held in Malaysia at the first launched, the geographical expansion will be further consideration. The main module of the project are going to be publish event, create ticket, create form, purchase ticket, make payment and take attendance. Agile has been selected to act as the development methodology since it iterative approach can ensure the project is going to increase the user acceptance. For the project languages, for front-end, Reactjs and Redux are selected. For backend, Nodejs and MongoDB is selected. The project structure is different with traditional structure which front end and back end is highly coupled, in this case, the front end and back end is running on separate server, every requests between both parties are using HTTPs request. Nevertheless, the project is build based on the concept of Progressive Web project and Single Page project, these concepts has provide the project a step closer to mobile project. The project development have gone through various phases which are requirement gathering, requirement planning and analysis, system design, system development and testing. To ensure the project meet the expectation, thorough testing has been conducted from various aspect such as functionality testing, security testing, usability testing, navigation testing, privilege testing etc. The testing has proven that the project perform as expected, and the project is already match the standard to publish as a real life project. However, there will be a minor changes need to be make before the project is publish for real use.
