Abstract

In this study, various polyaniline (PANI) composites were synthesized successfully through templet free method by using microparticle tin oxide (SnO2), nanoparticle SnO2 and single-wall carbon nanotube (SWCNT). All PANI composites were characterised by Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) and Ultraviolet-Visible (UV-VIS) spectroscopy. FTIR spectra obtained confirmed the chemical structure of PANI in all PANI composites by showing the characteristic peaks of C=N stretching, out-of-plane deformation of C−H, C−O−C stretching, −NH+= structure, conducting protonated form, C=C stretching of benzenoid rings and stretching vibration mode of CH3. UV-VIS spectra significantly proved that all PANI composites obtained were in conducting emeraldine salt form by showing three absorption peaks at 338-382 nm (
