Abstract

A process of risk management in projects is a rational chain of practices by which decision-agents plan and execute actions and control the results in order to keep the implementation of the project under certain conditions (time, cost and quality parameters’ set). The proposed of this research aim to study the potential risk involved in the construction industry or project, to identify process of risk management in project and the way to prevent risk. This research is conducted by using quantitative research method. The questionnaire was prepared and sent out by using Google Forms through e-mail to a total of 100 construction related firms such as, developers, consultancy, contractors and others to study the potential source and process of risk management and way to prevent risk in Malaysia. The research will help the parties in the construction industry to know risk management and to recognize the importance of risk management in construction industry v
