Abstract

This research paper covered the sustainable green building construction in Malaysia Building Industry. Nowadays, green building is important to use in construction industry as it brings lots of benefits to us. Using green building materials can improved health and reduce the cost use for the construction. Besides, the selection criteria of green building material is one of the important things when choosing a green building material for construction such as resource efficiency and indoor air quality. In addition, green materials are better to use as compared to conventional materials. It can be said that green building materials are really important to use in this century. The results of this research is aiming to identify the green building materials used in Malaysia construction industry, to find out the reasons of using green building materials and to explain the product selection criteria of green building materials.
