Abstract

Malaysia is a developing country and the population and economy of the country is in the uptrend nowadays. Instead on how to forces on fast growth the economics of the country, the environment of country cannot be neglected because of global warming in the world. Besides that, the population of the country is increasing every year 1960 years to currently. Therefore, energy efficiency in the accommodation shall be concern by government and more develop a sustainable building for Malaysia. After viewpoint of the previous article, they were concern on the energy efficiency of the building in country. But they were neglected that was a way to improve energy efficiency of building by interior design. Currently, a lot of the building owner was concern on the interior design no matter the modern building or old building of the country. Therefore, the purpose of the study was to explore how the Interior Designers can contribute to enhance and increase the energy efficiency to the building. To achieve the purpose and goal of this study whereby the face to face interview is conduct which located within Klang Valley to carry out the final result of the study. Hence, the outcome of study can be act as a guideline to encourage the houseowner to design their building to be more energy efficiency whereby to achieve the goal of friendly to environment and global warming of the country. Currently, global warming is the problem of the earth and human. Besides that, global warming was be worse from day to day. Therefore, this was the one of the concerns of this research to let people understand that the important of the energy efficiency and global warming.
