Abstract

This system is one of the partial fulfilment of the requirement for Bachelor of Information Systems (Hons) in Enterprise Information Systems. Basically this system is the online shopping platform that let consumers to buy products from seller. Since that could be possible one product can be buying from many consumers so that our system is develop for group buying purpose while it also could be individually buying by consumers. The areas covered in this system including of membership, main page design, stores, payment, products maintenance, buying(e-cart), delivery products and customer service. The main purpose of this system is allow customers to join the buying group in order to grab the lower price discount which products they are interested. Researches are done to fulfill the user’s requirement. This system is decided to develop by the PHP language and also MySql for the database. So that, we will more focuses on the user-friendly in this system. This system is to inspect how consumers join a group to purchase product. The price will be effect depends on the group size. The development phases are included planning, analysis, design, implementation, testing and maintenance phases. The outcome of the system is allowed consumers to join a purchasing group to grab a chance to purchase the product with the lowest price. The weakness is it group purchasing will never be able to negotiate a better deal for companies with significant spend in a category (Busch, 2019). In a conclusion, the online group purchasing are still not general in worldwide so that it should be disseminated to the worldwide in order to bring a new market value to the globalization.
