Abstract

MushiWar VR is an educational Virtual Reality game that uses the technology of Virtual Reality to let players experience first-hand on Archery shooting in virtual reality and also learn more about the types of pest and beneficial insects that we usually encounters in our daily lives but don’t know much about. This is possible due to the gameplay I have implemented which teaches player about which insect are prey or predator to the others while progressing through the game. I've implemented 8 kinds of insects which player will be able to learn more about after playing MushiWar VR. The objective of this game is to provide player with a fun and educational gaming experience. First will be letting player experience bow and arrow shooting mechanics in Virtual Reality world while also teaches player more about the types of pest and beneficial insects that we usually encounters in our daily lives and their respective prey and predators. Player’s knowledge about the insects will be tested through the gameplay. This project is made with Unity3D game engine using C# Sharp scripting language as its primary coding method long with a few free assets found in the Unity Asset Store.
