Abstract

In today‟s world, people are always dealing with different kind of people, appointments, tasks and etc. there are things to remember every day and cause them easily to forget things that passed for weeks or months. For instance, the appointment with the dentist is perhaps one of the things that people would normally forget. The problems faced currently are forgetfulness of people about the appointment with dentist, the inconvenient platform to make an appointment to meet the dentist, and the nervousness and anxiety faced by younger generation to meet the dentist. Therefore, an Interactive Dental Management Mobile App with an augmented reality (AR) game built in is developed to resolve the problems stated above. The project is developed for patients and dentists of the dental clinic. There are two modules in the project, which are the patient module and dentist module. The software process model used in this project is the waterfall model. Java is mainly used to develop the system while C# is used to develop the AR feature of the system. The testing performed on the system shows that the system works fine and it is able to perform the intended function as expected. In conclusion, the objectives of the project are achieved at the end of the project. This project can reduce the overall workflow of the dental clinic and improve the user experiences. However, there are still some improvements for the system which is the AR game scoring system and version of Firebase which only provided limited amount of storage.
