Technology is advancing at uncountable speed, in order to fulfil the high energy demand at the industrial field, more and more power plant was developed to supply the power requirement in the industry. The high energy demand makes the world in a horrible stage, which face the energy crisis problem. Cloudy or rainy weathers makes solar panel to have bad performance due to insufficient of sun light obtained. The solar tracking system helps the system to obtain the maximum sun intensity. The solar tracker that proposed in this final year project is a time base solar tracker, time setting is implemented in this project in order to make the solar tracker follow the position of the sun. Normal solar panel can only face one direction but when the sun moves from time to time, the sunlight collects by the panel will become lesser and lesser. The time based solar tracker can helps to overcome this problem, by following the sun trail, the misalignment angle decrease, it makes the solar panel to absorb more sunlight compare to fixed mount solar panel configuration.
