Abstract

Recently, there were many housing projects launched and propel a high demand of quality in local construction industry. This is due to home buyers expect to have a good workmanship of house. And this phenomenon has encouraged the developers and contractor firm to adopt the quality standard which help in maintaining the good quality in their construction projects. Therefore, Building and Construction Authority (BCA) had introduce Construction Quality Assessment System (CONQUAS) to ensure the quality of the project buildings. As in local, Quality Assessment System in Construction (QLASSIC) was adopted by the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) to maintain the quality of construction projects. Other than that, 100 sets of questionnaire had been distributed to the house owner who stayed in a unit with CONQUAS certified within KL area. Once data being collected, it will be analysed by using the method of frequency distribution method, multiple response analyse method and independent-sample t test method.
