Abstract

The huge amount of hardcopy documentation and digital documentation which received from the customers may lead those companies in lowering productivity and decreasing staffs’ performance by retyping the documentation data manually into the database. Therefore, Optical Character Recognition (OCR) is the best solution for those companies by using the OCR device to scan the hardcopy documentation data, convert it into digitalized data and upload into the database. It is good for those companies that they wished to solve those data conversion problems to save time, minimize the data content errors by using the additional time in handling other tasks in order to increase the companies’ staff performance and reduce the workload of staffs. RGui is a R programming language software that used Tesseract’s library files, one the method which can be used to solve the existing problem of the company.
