Abstract

Widely of risk factor management done by previous researcher, but focus on only 1 risk factor is still very limited. Based on the previous research found out top 2 risk will affect the process of the project is technical risk and labor risk on site. The purpose of this study are to increase the awareness of contractor to the labor risk in construction project. The objectives of the study are to investigate the factor of labor risk in construction project, to identify the effects of labor risk and determine the measures to mitigate the labor risk in construction project. To achieve these goals, the methodology of this study involved literature review and date collection by questionnaires. Though the literature review the factors, effects and solutions relation to labor risk on construction site have been identified. Questionnaires were prepared based on the studies objectives and sent to contractors and building professionals in Malaysia. The data collected used to identify the factors that will caused the labor risk and its effects and mitigation measures on site. The data which collected analyzed by computer software Microsoft Excel.
