Abstract

Façade in architecture plays an important role as a protective case of a building and refers to an envelope of a building structure. The building façade can be made from different shapes and sizes which can create a unique character and personality towards a building. Therefore, façade considered versatile may be depending on the geographical location of a building situated in. Besides, to select a correct façade for a structure based upon aesthetics and functionality. In this Modern Technology, not every country would place a building façade as an important part for a building exterior, as the price of design is higher and time to construct is longer than simple one. A research to be conducted about the meaning of façade in architecture, the purpose of façade and how to choose a suitable façade for a structure with different sizes and shapes.
