Abstract

This dissertation was carried out to study on buying perception toward Affordable Housing among Fresh graduate in Klang Valley. Most cities around the world are facing major challenges in providing safe and adequate housing for their people, especially cities that are growing rapidly and where the affordable housing options are limited. Moreover, young urban Malaysians feel constrained by current housing options Since they are faced with the challenges of buying a house in urban areas because of the existing highly inflated property prices. This research gives fresh graduates a deeper understanding of clearly on the affordable housing policy which the government has introduced. Thus, before purchasing their first home, they may have some understanding of affordable housing scheme. This research even looked at the fresh Graduate housing preferences in Klang valley. Furthermore, 100 sets of questionnaires have been prepared for obtaining the data and target group of respondent group will be fresh graduate who live in Klang Valley area. In conclusion, the study is expected to contribute a comprehensive and clear guideline for the fresh graduate house buyers to choose the most suitable affordable housing scheme provide by government and ensure that the affordable housing scheme is designed according to the expectations of the fresh graduates.
