Abstract

Green Buildings Technology are the technologies which creates the most minimum impact to the environment. The rapid development of traditional buildings had seriously polluted our environments. There are several factors that consists in the process of the traditional buildings construction that may create big impacts to the environment. Therefore, to reduce the impacts of such development, green building technology has been widely used throughout the world these days. In this research study, it will include benefits of the green building technology and the barrier to implement the green buildings technology. The purpose of this study is to improve the awareness of the green building technology. Quantitative research method had been used in this study to ask the experienced respondent who related to the construction industry. A set of questionnaire form had been prepared and send out to 100 respondents who located at different type of company. This research will increase the awareness and improve the information of green buildings technology to people. Thus, increase the number of green building technology implemented in the construction industry.
