Abstract

This research project is to study the level of acceptance on Youtube content, mainly is the case study of YouTube content that gains most Malaysian YouTube viewer's interest. There are many different types of content we can find on Youtube since it was created in 2005, therefore different nation viewers will have different interests in viewing Youtube content. This research project will mainly study on Malaysian viewers to see whether which type of content is most interested by the majority Malaysian Youtube viewers. To achieve the objective of this research study, the qualitative research will be used such as content analysis and another methodology will be used would be focus group, since this project unfortunately meet with coronavirus disease pandemic where the people are not allowed to gather physically, the focus group and content analysis will be done through online. There will be 10 respondents being selected as a sample of Malaysian Youtube viewers respondent with different characteristics and 10 different types of content will be selected by the researcher as the content analysis. After the video selected is shown to the 10 participants, the researcher will provide 7 same questions for each video to do analysis based on the 10 participant opinions and perspectives. Furthermore, from the opinions and perspectives provided by participants, the researcher will do observation and analysis through all the comments from different characteristics and from that will compare with the objective created at first. Lastly, summarize the report to conclude this research project.
