Abstract

The study attempts to explore the influence of product package structure on consumer purchasing decisions that can be taken as alternative methods which encourage more consumers to purchase a certain local product to increase the market value. Besides ,this study will also identify the role of packaging attractiveness in stimulating consumer interest in packaging design. The researcher has conducted two semi-structured interviews for an in-depth understanding of the objective of the research topic. The researcher had the privilege to interview Mr.Joseph Yew, a packaging designer with 10 years and above of experiences in this industry .Other than that, the researcher also had invited Ms Iris for the interview, one of the winners from international packaging design competition.
