This project is a final year design project for academic purposes. It will provide students with the methodology, concept, and design of digital integrated circuit. This will be illustrated through the construction of a Teaching Chip. Since TAR University College’s technology is well suited for digital circuits, it is therefore implemented in the project. From the design point of view, emphasis is laid on the board games design for educational purpose for children with Dyspraxia. This project will have a title name “Board Games Education for Children with Dyspraxia”. The product design will have a name “Little Explorer”. It is a board games designed to help with the children with Dyspraxia in five different ways such as touch, look, hear, smell and taste. Dyspraxia is also called “Developmental Coordination Disorder”. This people have problem in movement, judgment, coordination, processing, memory, and some other cognitive skills. Through the design, children with dyspraxia can learn to explore themselves with guide and as a practice guide to improve on the symptom of Dyspraxia. “Little Explorer” can be functioned as an educational tool in kindergarten school as children with dyspraxia learn faster through an interesting game situation. It is beneficial in building a good communication between children and teachers through playing the board games. The board games design help to increase the awareness of children who diagnosed with Dyspraxia. This is because Dyspraxia is poorly to be known in Malaysia compared to Dyslexia. In fact, teaching a child with dyspraxia can be a frustrating experience due to the wide range of symptoms that may be present. Therefore, “Little Explorer” board games design will be an educational tool that help in enhancing the learning experience and communication skills for children with Dyspraxia.
