The Chinese variety shows are becoming popular in many countries. Chinese variety shows can be defined as a show that consists those elements such as songs, dances, and comedy skits, which included tap dancers along with their other acts, were among the most popular programs in the early decades of television, including ‘Keep Running’, ‘Produce 101’ and ‘Happy Camp’. However, there are a lot of genres of television programs such as talent competitions to dating programs, travel series, performance-based shows and talk shows that capture participants unscripted and show their real self. Moreover, the elements and information of Chinese variety shows have been observed by the young adults, and it will be commented on by them. The technology developed, young adults can use mobile phones or network to make some response after they have watched the variety shows. Yet, Chinese variety shows allow young adults to improve their Chinese language, knowledge of Chinese culture, communication skill, behaviour and attitudes through the variety shows. With the growth of young adults in Malaysia, they will conclude that if the elements, behaviour or attitude are accurate or inaccurate to show on the television, they need to give some feedback or recognize the good and bad due to the variety shows in order not to make themselves disappointed, so the variety show may also improve and be better in future.
