Abstract
Procurement is an essential process of every business. The procurement is a process that every business acquiring products or services from external source. With the development of technology and the help of the Internet, the procurement process has been digitized and transformed into a procurement system that can automate the traditional procurement process. The objective of this project is to implement a purchase management system that enhance and improve existing procurement systems in the market in order to allow all enterprises to manage their business transaction more effectively. The users that suggested to use our proposed system is the purchasing department of any organisation in every industry except the service provider such as insurance company and bank. The scope that involve in this project will be Administration Management, Purchase Needs Management, Sourcing Management, Solicitation Management, Purchase Order Management and Vendor Management. This project will be using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) as the methodology which start with gathering information and requirements needed and end with several test. Test that will be conducted including Unit Test (UT), Integration Test, System Test and User Acceptance Test (UAT). This is to ensure that our proposed system can meet all functional and non-functional requirements of users and avoid system malfunction. Tools that will be used to develop the proposed system are Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Note Pad, XAMPP Server, Visual Studio Code and IBM Rational Software Architecture software.
