Abstract

Today, Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (TAR UC) is upgrading its management system towards smart campus status to provide a technological environment for students. For the convenience of hostel residents, TAR UC needs a new hostel management system to replace the current manual management system. Based on the experience of current hostel residents, the current manual hostel management system is very troublesome to them as it requires them to visit the management office to do every single task. Not only that, as the TAR UC’s hostel residents of TAR UC are increasing every year, so the hostel residents should do everything online instead of physically going to the management office to do it. However, the new system aims to achieve every service of the TAR UC hostel in a fully online mode. Hence, the user can enjoy the services everywhere and at all times as long as they are with their laptop or computer.
