Abstract
Over the recent years, in Malaysia, the imbalance of supply and demand in property is occurred due to the massive over construction of residential units by housing developers and the developer‟s constant offering a housing unit that does not satisfy buyer‟s need and desires. This study is conducted to investigate the factors that affected property-buying behavior and the relationship between home buyer‟s demographic characteristic and their housing purchase intention. In order to achieve objective of this study, distribution of eighty sets questionnaires survey to the target respondent serves as the main research method used. Based on the study's findings, financial factor is the most important factor that homebuyers consider before purchasing a house in Klang valley. The study also found that the correlation between homebuyer's demographics and their intention to purchase a house in Klang valley is insignificant.
