Abstract

The title of this Project and Dissertation II is “Factors that Influence New Generation Decision Making in Investing Second Residential Property in Klang Valley”. In Malaysia, the new and younger generation will be the head in 21st century. The term “new generation” is the people from 15 years old to 30 years old in 21st century. However, in this century, this is a starting point for new generation to invest in their residential property. In order to achieve a high level of the investment in residential property, it is very important to understand the factors that influence the new generation’s decision making in investing their second property of residential in Klang Valley. At the beginning, Literature Review will be carried out to identify the type of residential property available in Klang Valley. Besides that, this section will also investigate the reason of new generation like to invest in residential property more than one. Last but not least, it also will find out the factors that influence the new generation decision making in investing the 2nd residential property. Research Methodology section will be followed after the conduction of Literature Review. This chapter will describe the methods and ways to approach in the data collection. Questionnaire survey will be more suitable in this research. The data collected had been analysed in Chapter 4. The SPSS Software will be used to analysed the all the data collected from new generation age between 20 years old to 30 years old. In the Chapter 5, the conclusion will be carried out to summary the research from the data collected. The limitation of the research and future research will be also carried out in last chapter.
