Abstract

The purpose of conducting this research is to analyze how a recycling campaign can effectively influence people towards performing recycling practices. In this research, the researchers had selected three samples to study which are the Blastik Project by Alternative Indigenous Development Foundation (AIDFI), Pelangi Publishing Group CSR Recycling Campaign, and the ‘Plastic Recyclothon: Ek Baar Phir’ conducted by Project Mumbai. The researchers had used qualitative and mixed methods to collect data in order to complete the research. The data collection methods that were being used in this study are including literature review and survey research. Literature review was conducted to collect secondary data about the campaigns of the selected samples whilst survey research was conducted to obtain primary data from the respondents regarding recycling matters from their view of perspective. From the result of the study, it can be said that the researchers had collected and understood the effective methods to have a successful recycling campaign. This research also shows what kind of campaign best fit a systematic recycling strategy.
