Abstract
Construction is an essential business that generates income and contributes to the country's social and economic development. Inadequate waste management techniques in building projects have resulted in an ineffective result in decreasing environmental consequences and unlawful disposal. This paper presents a review types of waste in construction. Thus, there have many ways to minimize waste in construction and will explain what benefits when minimizing waste in construction. The Research Methodology section describes many approaches of data collection. The case study and questionnaire survey were chosen to meet the study's aims. The target audience is those who are presently working in or have previously worked in contractor firms in the Kuala Lumpur and Selangor areas. In construction Malaysia, 100 sets of questionnaires will be distributed to medium-sized contractor firms (G4 to G6) and 100 sets of questionnaires will be distributed to large-sized contractor firms (G7).
