Abstract
An Industrialised Building System (IBS) method compare with conventional method is a challenge and difficult in selective apply for a construction project. The aim of this work is implementing IBS with strategies way that develop new efficient direction and valuable in construction system. In order to o collect the information on most important strategies to implement the IBS, there were using pilot test at first by carried out to test reliability and subsequently refine the questionnaire, make sure that questionnaire will be understand by respondent. All are using distribution of questionnaires form by frequency analysis and mean. Besides, information from the questionnaire was gathered using close-ended question which mean aimed to capture where a Likert Scale (ranging from 1-5) to evaluate where, „1‟ represented „highly agree‟ while „5‟ represented „highly disagree‟. Moreover, the finding for objective 1 is “To identify the critical barrier that preventing from implementation of Industrialised Building System (IBS) in construction projects”. Followed by objective 2 is “To identify most important strategies that needed to implement the IBS in construction projects”. This finding of the study gives an effective strategy to implement according to the respondents is offering flexible financing and tax reduction to manufacturers and constructor. It will benefit the future construction technology and increase the adoption of IBS which may bring potential to improve economic in construction industry.
