Abstract
The objective of this research is to investigate storytelling animation, with an emphasis on the visual elements of storytelling animation that can be used to represent thoughts and concepts that are engaging to the audience. The researcher has undertaken a case study on one of the projects in order to broaden understanding of the subject matter. The respective project for the observation is a visual storytelling 2D animation from Vimeo, by Ariel Victor. The researcher has collected some reference journals and articles for analytical purposes. According to the design statement of the researcher, the researcher has analysed the application of visual elements in storytelling animation.
