Abstract

In this age of advanced technology, selling products such as handmade handicrafts made by disabled people on the roadside sold a lot of money. The orphans and old folks depend on government subsidies or donations from enthusiastic people to maintain their life. Following the implementation of the MCO recently, all Malaysians were instructed primarily to stay indoors and almost all of them face financial difficulties. Disabled people have no income at all and for orphans and old folks, there is not enough donation and the center has to face daily expenses. So,this system aims to let more and more people support disabled people, orphans, and old folks to promote their selling products through online platforms and attract people from all walks of life to buy. In addition, it helps them earn extra money, so that when a situation such as MCO is happening, then they have a saving money to tide over the difficulty.This project cover 11 main modules of the platform proposed which are user authentication module,product management module, registration module,chatting module, feedback module, ordering module,rating module ,Sponsoring module,Item donation module,money donation module and payment module.The features of the platform includes user authentication , enable users to buy products, rate the users and items ,write feedback about the system, chat with users, donate money and items, register as seller and buyer,sponsor to specific seller, order making and make payment with paypal or online banking.The software development used to develop the platform is Rapid Application Development which it allows to make changes in the system anytime.The tools used to develop the web-based platform is Apache Netbeans IDE 12.0 and the database of system will be coded using My Structured Query Language(MySQL).
