With that many vehicles flooding the streets of Malaysia, finding a parking space downtown during peak hours is deemed impossible thus bears the question, why does most parking lots in shopping malls, hospitals, parking buildings still uses the same old conventional parking system that have such limited functionality? The SMART Parking System proposed is much more efficient, user-friendly, cost effective and scalable than the current system because the proposed system focuses on the usage of a widely available and low cost solution technology called QR code technology.
