Abstract

There are various methods to convert plant biomass into fertilizers. The methods were classified into three main types which are animal manure, earthworms, and fungi. An understanding of the composition of oil palm empty fruit bunches and how they are being dried was carried out. The three types of conversion methods were discussed as well along with their respective advantages and disadvantages. Moreover, a suggestion of a new method to convert the oil palm empty fruit bunches was discussed together with a few expected results and why this method is suggested. Additionally, suggestions of solutions to solve the disadvantages of the three methods are mentioned in the future prospect. At long last, the conclusion will bring up the summary of the three methods
